Default New high bc 25 cal bullet

I have been talking to a fellow down in the states who is producing a new high bc bullet for 25 cal the initial release will be 131 grain with a G7 of 0.330-0.333 tested at 1000 yds from 2930-3130 fps. They will have multiple dealers and the bullets will be made by black jack bullets. Should be pretty exciting news for the 25 cal club.

Here is a link to the Facebook posts https://www.facebook.com/groups/8514...9088303537480/ they are also developing high bc 6.5 and 6mm bullets.

Interesting.

Begs the question. How long will be too long?

With these long bullet trends everyone is going to need a long action for their short actions!

Chinchaga bullets has had these type of bullets for more than a couple years now. And they are an Alberta based company(recently slowed production due to some health issues mind you)

And also be advised you’d need a custom twist barrel for bullets in this weight class. On the order of a 1 in 9 or 1 in 8 twist.

It sounds interesting, unfortunately my 25-06rem doesn't really group the heavier bullets very well. It seems to like the 100gr Trophy Copper by Federal the best as far as a big game bullet goes. It also shoots 85 and 90 gr varmint bullets really well.
