Pulled my line yesterday. Numbers have dropped right off for me lately. Time to give them a rest until next season.

Uke did you find more female marten catch later in season or still high male/female ratio.

The opposite! Was higher on the females earlier in the season and started seeing more males later in the season.

Looked at my final numbers. 60% female and 40% male this year. Slower year than normal with only 61 marten at the end of December. Pulled the line.

Uke, your female ratio is quite high, may hurt you in later years as they are your breeding stock. Hoarny males can cover lot of country and get to all the girls.

We started out hot in November and first 2 weeks of December, and now it has completely died off last 3 weeks for martin

Pulled half the line already, going to pull the rest early this year and focus more on the doggies and kitties

Has anyone heard anything about the Wolf poisoning F&W has done? We have been out lots over a large area and the number of tracks of anything that would eat meat is down big time. Area from Whitecourt to Grande Cache. Hinton, Edson.
