Default Firearms renewal grace period and online renewal info - Link

The Canadian Firearms Program (CFP) now offers an Online Licence Renewal Application which can be accessed at: http://www.rcmp-grc.gc.ca/cfp-pcaf/o.../index-eng.htm

It's easy, fast, and a secure way to renew your fireams licence.
If your firearms licence is about to expire, renew it online today.
As of March 31, 2020, the fee to renew a firearms licence will be increasing.
For more information, please visit www.rcmp-grc.gc.ca/cfp or contact the CFP by email at cfp-pcaf@rcmp-grc.gc.ca or by telephone at 1-800-731-4000.

Firearm licence expiry

As per the Common Sense Firearms Licensing Act, since October 2017, individuals have a six-month extension (grace) period past the expiry date printed on their firearms licence card to submit a renewal application online
Your firearms licence card will remain valid, with limitations, during this extension (grace) period
Individuals can check the status of their firearms licence application via Individual Web Services

Firearm licence renewal

The processing of firearms licence renewal applications submitted by mail is on hold until further notice
We recommend submitting your application to renew your firearms licence via Individual Web Services.
Individuals can check the status of their firearms licence application via Individual Web Services.

I received my updated PAL in under a month by doing it online. It wasn’t even due for another 6 months.

AND, I got notification today that the price for renewing went up March 31st. Mine is due, of course. Bastards

I luckily renewed mine just on March 29th not knowing prices are going up. I just got a notice in the mail yesterday(April 2nd) letting me know I need to renew and that prices are going up on March 31st.
