Default Archery biathlon

For the last week, I've been watching archery biathlon (skiing) on YouTube. Wondering if anyone knows what type of recurves are commonly used for this event in these conditions. Few are shooting Samick and Win&Win limbs. There are several risers that look solid. One I confirmed was a Hoyt. There are also events for snowshoeing, running and mountain biking. Even though I'd have a long way to go, I think I'd like to try this out.

Sounds enticing. I’ve seen the vids, and would give it a whirl.
