Yup, definitely raccoon. They have a pretty good foothold in Fort Saskatchewan now and they are working their way East across the river. Dugh caught one last year in the Gibbons area and last year one made it into my skinning shack. A big 25 lb boar that was caught about 10 kms SW of Morinville. I saw tracks on the bank of the Sturgeon River this Spring in the same general while trapping beaver. The invasion has started in this area.

Thx Dave. I do a lot of fishing between redwater and elk point and have seen those tracks in numerous places all along the river.
