That's a cool looking picture. And I apologize if I offended you in any way about reading the regs, that was not my intention. I should have PMed you or said it a little politer.

No worries, nobody hurt my feelings.

In my own defense I did read the regs, a few times, and read up about the fish species, but I have not seen most of them up close so I got a little mixed up. I was just excited to have caught something.

Now I just have to catch a pike so there's no more confusion!

The fishing was pretty good, I hiked in with my belly boat. Tried quite a few flies with limited success, but when I started fishing leach patterns, the action for me really picked up. There were quite a few risers, but they seemed to be mostly small fish who were curious about my fly selection, but not too keen on taking them. Sinking line with leaches was much more successful for me.

For the guy who didn't know what a pike looks like ;-)...

BTW - You can see she has a bit of a hump on her back in front of the dorsal fin... I am curious as to what it is. The meat from that area didn't have any different appearance, and there wasn't anything obviously parasitic there...

Here's a beauty stringer that came out of a lake up in northern SK in an afternoon. The second picture was a decent one I got later that night...fun times. All fish were handled greatly by the barbeque later
