Wont comment on that. Still a fun day. Very safe for anyone who is walking or quads.

Dark Lincoln or Ford F-150 by any chance? Seen two idiots out there last week flying down the middle to the south end

Spent 4 hours last saturday at wabamun, a solid 9 inches of hard black ice closer to shore but does drop the further out you venture.

6 pike on the weedy bottom holes.

2 walleye and one big greasy burbot on the sand bottom holes.

Solid start to the season!

Do you speak English? What's your issue? Am I obligated to drive around drilling holes to update the thread for you? I know for certain that the lake I fish in the winter doesn't have the 10 inches of ice that I want to feel comfortable.

With over 9,000 views and 100 replies, I think the thread has been fairly successful.

Default Crawling Valley

Was at Crawling Valley today. Around 8" of great ice. Fishing started off slow but got 2 keeper pike just after 1:00. Seen nothing on the camera from 10:30 to 1:00. From 1:00 - 2:00 I seen 5 pike on the camera. All were very timid. Just slowly swam up to the bait then either just looked at it and swam off or bumped it with there nose. I did get 2 of them to bite but it took a lot of convincing. Most did not like a lot of jigging. Just a slight jiggle did the trick.

Spray lake - about 5" middle of the lake out off the boat launch on Saturday. Could see open water to the south.

Default Badger

Almost went through the ice while walking on at Badger. There has been a significant opening in the ice from the wind and warm weather, similar to the one on the south end last year. One minute I was walking on clear 3-4" of good ice and just about stepped through less than 2mm of skin ice that I assume was open water the day before, the gap was 50ft wide and ran N-S from the dam on the west side. This was on December 10.
