Default athabasca

Hey everyone, just wondering if anyone knows some places to try around athabasca? I have never been there before but im heading there for a week or two for work. I don't really care what I catch its just nice to get out.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

You could go north to calling lake it's pretty close.

Baptiste Lake has lots of fish in it and they are easy to catch .

Thanks for the help guys! Its nice to have this forum to get some starting points from. It kinda sucks working out of town but it is a lot better if you can do some sweet fishing when im there.

The river there, Rock island lake a little north of Calling. From there, if look at a map you would probably find a dozen or so lakes less than an hr away.

X2 on the river. Some big walleye lurk in those eddies.

Island Lake has some nice perch. Chain Lake south has rainbows, very "unmuddy", and easy to catch. Some reasonable sizes.
