X! I run a 120 horse Sport jet, that is the same power head as the 120 inline 4 outboard but on an inboard jet pump.
Got mine in 2000, m been running high dirty water, mud, sticks, rocks, you name it, it's gone through it or over it!
Clear water, Athabasca, MCkay, Hanginstone, Horse, ran them all.
Took it all the way up the Muskeg Rier to Albion Sands with three of us in the boat!
The only thing I have really done to the motor was change to Boyesen composite reeds, and a stainless wear ring and impeller.

I have a firefish 20' hunter. V8. Heavy boat. Tough boat. Lots of good things to say about the boat. Heavy aluminum bottom and then QT100 steel plate. No plastic. Some small things I would change the next time I have a boat custom built. Not the same style of boat you are looking at though.

I have 17' firefish piranha, tough boat, runs incredibly shallow. 200 opti stainless in the pump. It has been an awesome little boat.

Default Koffler

I bought a 17' koffler (tiller). The boat runs shallow and is very well built - lots of storage, removable seats etc. the customer service from the koffler family is second to none, I highly recommend buying one/having one built. Can easily fish 3 people.

Regards
