Cool kinaird lake

thanks for the info. I wont be heading out until the end of the month. Anyone who see more snow or or has some advice please let me know. It is a long drive to head in blind, but that is half the fun!
Cheers

Just spent the night on Kinniard and went in on quads and had no problem with snow. It snowed on the way home but I doubt it's enough to make it tough going with quads. Hard to say what it'll be like in a couple weeks

i'd say two to four inches on the trail, some bare spots and some drifted on ice.. the helena/blackett "truck" access portage is rough.. really rough.. I feel bad for my truck rough. three jacks, seen some perch, seen some eyes, and lots of cold cold wind

Hey guys,

I'm heading to Blackett with a friend for a 3 days of ice fishing on the weekend of Feb 11. I have never fished this lake before and I'm trying to track down a lake map to help plan out probable spots. Would anyone know where I can find one? I have been searching google with no success. We are going to be targeting perch and walleye.

Thanks,

John

Go onto anglersatlas.com You will need to register yourself but there are hydrographic maps on virtually every lake in North America!!

If you search for that provincial park theres a backcountry map that I posted earlier in the season. It has how all the lakes are connected and the trails etc.. If I find it ill post the link again.
