Jackfish Lake (near Stony Plain)

Has anyone been out this summer? Last I read there was winterkill at the lake but not much since. Has the lake recovered at all? Thanks in advance.

Been out a couple time this year. I love this little lake usually spend 3-4 hours
catch around 10 to 15 Walley/Pike. During the week if you're off the lake by 4 pm you can advoid the $20 boat launch parking fee. The ski boats can get a little annoying though.

Do you know if that fee is for kayaks or only motorized?

It’s for parking. So I don’t think it matters what you have

Went today, no bites but had fun on a the kayak. Wake boats get a little annoying after a while.

Heard that lake is poached hard. Fish cops patrol it every day.
