Default gloss stock repair

A good friend of mine has a high gloss 1984 browning that is almost perfect except it has a little tiny spot about the size of a pea that is between a scuff and a chip in the gloss .
How would one fix it so it would not be noticeable at all.

Those high gloss finishes are really hard to touch up. It can be done but you need someone who really knows what they are doping and that has done it before so you don't have to redo the whole stock. So much depends on exactly what the damage looks like. You can often polish out a scuff but if the finish is cracked or dented then it is a whole different process. You need to fill the dent. This is not the gun or finish to try your first repair on. If you haven't done this kind of work before take it to a professional like David Henry.
