During the family camping trip I took a morning to do some fly fishing. I chose to try Goat Lake. I got up before sunrise and made my way to the Red Rock parking lot donned my backback and mounted my trusty steed. I biked the first 4.5 km's then hiked in the last 2.5.
Looking back during the hike in
Waterfall that you pass on the way up
Another small waterfall once you have finished the steepest part of the hike
Man was it worth it. No wind and I had the lake to myself for 4 hours. I started on one side and work my way around the lake once. The water was crystal clear so you could easily see them coming for the fly. I didn't catch anything huge but the action was consistant the colours on the fish were beautiful
First catch of the day
The water was like glass
The trail on the way out
The hike out was nice. Got back to the bike and cruised back to the truck and back at the campsite in time for lunch.
Pretty cool, was thinking of that last time I was there but did the easy Wall Lake instead. How long did it take you going in with hike and bike combined?

It took about 2 hours going in. 1/2 hour for the bike and 1.5 for the hike. Coming back the I was able to coast on the bike almost all the way to the truck, it was worth it just for that.
