Default 300 m targets

i shot my cooper 6mm rem and weatherby 300 today moderate wind left to right 6mm on the left 300 wby on the right 6mm 2.5 inhes high at 100 metres the wby 3.5 inches high 100 metres. i shot 2 wby groups one 165 gr. 3 shots the 2 shots 200 gr. partition figuring the lower 2 would be the heavier bullets but they all landed the same elevation i assume the 2 partitions are on the right. the squares are 7 inch target is at 300 metres

its a leica 2 to 10 power. the load is 8o gr. boattail over 40 gr 4895 ithought i would change to a slower powder with a bigger charge but this max book load goes 3340 in 24 inch cooper by my chrono thats unusually fast i think. the cooper seems to shoot nice my wby gives me fits sighting in 100 metres then always seems to shoot fie at 300. the cooper i am not really impressed with ergonomically but the chrono numbers seem high and its accurate its a lightweight barrel syn 6.5 pounds. for a rest i had my spotting scope case and a small peice of cordwood to roll up under the back of the stock not ideal but the sight picture looked good anyway. the weatherby trigger makes it more difficult without a real good rest despite its weight
