As described it title...I am needing a front swivel stud to fit my model 70 xtr. It went missing on last outing. Anyone have one they no longer need or know where I could get my hands on a replacement?
Standard set up, go to most CT’s or gun shoppes and buy a front swivel stud and nut assembly( usually front, rear, and swivels.)
Install it make sure the bolt portion isn’t impinging on the barrel in any way., as an added measure to ensure things don’t come unscrewed again degrease the bolt portion and put some clear nail polish on the threads before screwing things back together.
