Any idea what I have here?

That is a TOZ - 8M I believe.
I have owned several of the repeaters (TOZ 17) but never a single shot.
Some shot very well, but the actions and triggers can be quite rough.

Trades I would interested in:
- Sightron rifle scopes, 4.5x14x42mm or 4x16x42mm
especially! with the HHR reticle. (no duplex pls.)
- older 6x fixed scopes with fine X or target dot.

Looking at the back of the action I would say the Baikal. The TOZ has a cap on the back. Neither the Baikal or the OP's gun have this part.

Have had mine for years, very heavy barrel.
Lent mine to my dad and he took off sights and mounted a scope, not impressed as it was not his to play with, said he wanted to use as a target rifle.

The Toz is one butt ugly rifle but they do shoot.

It was gifted and I have no idea what the value would be other then 1899’s post.
