Default Beauvais Winter Camping and Fishing

I'm hoping to get one last camping and fishing trip in with family and trailer and would like to know if anyone has camped at Beauvais Lake in late Oct/Nov? It shows that sites 1-15 are open for winter camping and normally has 30 amp power, but I can't find anywhere if the power is actually turned on during the winter period. Be nice to have a quiet space heater inside for sleeping vs a loud furnace.

It only shows that the water and sani-dump station are shutdown.

Any tips for that lake for fishing would be appreciated too as I've only been there once about 10+ years ago fishing from shore. I do have a pontoon boat now.

I haven't winter camped there, but was there fishing the other weekend, lots of fish jumping in the evening. Got a lot of bites with just a small hook and orange marshmallows

We've camped there in winter over the years and the power has always been on. Planning another trip there end of the month. Only once had trouble with the power and the problem was someone had tripped the breaker. They do some snow clearing of the sites and clear the road in. Great spot to winter camp.

I was just out there on the weekend. Power sites were still on. Lots of Rainbows biting but we didn't find any Browns.

Bows were taking Caddis larva, freshwater shrimp, and Prince Nymphs, and small minnow crankbaits as well (yo-zuri my preference).

Good luck!
