Default Remington 700p MLR 338 Lapua

im loking at buying this rifle and was hoping you guys could give me a heads up if you have heard any bad news about it.
Im looking to do longer range big game hunting with it and long range target shooting.

The only down side I have heard of the rifle is that the barrel is a little short to really take advantage of the powder capacity of the cartridge. That being said quite a few guys are still happy and from what I have heard they still shoot quite well.

Default Lapua

If you would like to PM me your number I will call you and I can give you quite a bit of data. I own and shoot a TRG42 in Lapua and a 700 in Lapua Improved and a Sako 75 in lapua improved and there are pros and cons to each.
