Looking for Curtis Cayer

Does anyone have an address for Curtis Cayer formally of 4Boys Manufacturing?
He lives in the Calgary area. I ordered an electric boat loader from him and paid up front for an April 2021 install. Since then I have had messages about aluminum shortages, materials delayed in the Suez Canal, etc…. Now he won’t answer his phone, or reply to voicemails or texts, and his latest is he has blocked me on Facebook. I Googled him and found at least one other person has reported dealings with him to the Better Business Bureau, for the same reason. See attached photo. Beware of any business dealings with Curtis Cayer or Cayer Contracting.

That is unfortunate. Did you pay him directly or to the company? If it the company, it looks like they are out of business but you may be able to make a claim on there assets.

The one thing you shouldn't do is let it go. Prepare a letter and let them know you will be taking legal action. Make it clear that if you hear from them you can be open to negotiate. There are services that specialize in finding and serving legal papers and you can use these for finding and delivering the letter.

If you paid via credit card, there may be a chance there.

I paid to Cayer Contracting. I’ve just joined a class action suit in the last 15 minutes and Calgary Police have a file. 12 people are after him.
