Default 257 weatherby

Anybody have any experience with this caliber? I was wondering about performance on deer at different yardages. I'll be shooting the 100 grain soft point weatherby ammo.

That is not a bad bullet.... I use those for shooting coyotes! They work well. However, I am currently trying out 110gr accubonds, accuracy is not bad but I think the barns bullets are going to be the ticket for me! They work well and hold their weight.

do not shoot any big game animal with the 100gr soft points the bullet is going to fast to hold up against hide and bone, penetration will be horrible ask anyone else that has shot this gun lots, you need to shoot premium bullets, ie. bonded or barnes x. personaly i think its stupid they even sell them its just not suited for the high velocity.
