Default Tikka T3X magazine internal length

Has Tikka changed the internal max length of their short action magazines from 2.80" since discontinuing the T3?
If not, has anyone found 2.80" to be far short of max coal in a T3X in 308 using 150 Accubonds? Or maybe it's a non- issue?
This is potentially steering me away from buying a T3X in 308. I like everything else about them.

For similar money I'd forego the T3x and find a Roughtech pro. Still some kicking around in .308. Calgary Shooting Centre is a good place to start. $400+ B&C stock. Fluted barrel. Stainless Barrel. 2 proper action sizes...unless the T3x improved it.

You can get the M+ mag from Tikka. You may need to file your existing bolt stop a bit...or not.

This. I have one for my 260, didn’t need to file bolt stop. I’m running at 2.880 coal at .050 off, and could run to the lands and still fit in the mag.

Haw about getting 30 06 magazine for your 308? It should work without any modifications or maybe new bolt stop from 30 06?

I've more or less decided to go with Savage.
Savage magazine internal length 3".
1 in 10" twist compared to 1 in 11".
Forthrightly available.
$300+ less than Tikka for comparable model.
I'm comparing a Savage 110 High Country to Tikka's Veil Wideland.
Tikka may carry a little more prestige but I've never had a problem with Savage.
Bash away....
