Default Christensen Arms 6.5 PRC

Just ordered a new left hand Mesa and was wondering if Reloader 26 is the “go to” powder or what everyone else is using in theirs.

R-26 works excellent in my Traverse, well under 1/2moa, and 3030fps with the 143eldx. Prophet River just received Lapua cases for the 6.5PRC.

Just phoned Prophet River and they have Redding dies but only Nosler brass. I’m hoping to get my hands on some Lapua Brass

You must have just missed it. It supposedly just arrived, but was selling fast.

I am actually using ADG cases.

I am planning to load some 142 grain Nosler ABLR with RL25 when my Lapua brass shows up as I couldn't find any RL26 when I was shopping around.

I have a few lbs of R26 that I used in my 270wsm. It will be going up for sale soon so I can save this powder for the prc.

I'm going for one of the 6.5 PRC Mesa rifles too, soon. Got in line for a box of the Lapua brass coming in next week and have Redding dies. If anyone is looking for some factory ammo I have a few boxes and now that I have some brass coming up might just ditch it and go straight to reloading.

I am assuming you have a box or two of the Hornady 143 grain ELD-X? I might be interested in a box as it shoots well out of my Mesa.

Picked up Hornady match grade dies, Lapua brass and some 142 gr LRAB at Neerlandia Co-op today, Brent usually has almost anything you can dream of.

My rifle shipped today so hopefully in a week I can start working up a load.

One of the fellas at our club is having excellent accuracy to 1K using 130 ELDM'S and 4831sc, another uses H1,000 and 140 Bergers .
These guns will shoot 1/2 Moa and better from 200 to 1K, depending on how tight the nut behind the bolt is tvat day .

Anyone try 7828? Looking for some Hornady brass? Any recommendations?
Picked up a savage light weight 110.
