Groundhog Shoot

Come out and test your equipment and skills.
Rocky Rod and Gun Club is hosting our 2nd Groundhog shoot on July 24th 2021.
2 separate classes:

VARMINT Class .224 cal and under. Max. 12lbs. No scope restrictions.
OPEN Class Means just that. Except max caliber .338 lapua. If you want to beat yourself up for 30-40 rounds then so be it. However. You wreck our targets, you buy them.

All shooting Benchrest style. No one piece rests. ie. leadsled.

Targets: -100m Benchrest score targets
-300m Benchrest score targets
Unlimited sighters on paper.
-500m Groundhog silhouettes
-600m Groundhog silhouettes
Only 2 sighters allowed.
All targets score 5 rounds/target. So 30 rounds per class should do. But bring more in case of shoot offs.

Cost $100 for both classes or $75 for one.

Like to post a shout out to the Rocky Rod And Gun Club for a VERY well run shoot on Saturday the 24th. Eugene and Lori and the many others that organized the shooters did a super job. Beautiful range and first class people.
Didn't have my best day but don't matter , everything else was top notch +

Great shoot. Super folks, good food, great spot for camping. Can't wait to do it all over again next year. Lori and Gene did a fabulous job organizing. The sponsors were great and everyone went home with something. This time my wife came home with more than me 😊.
