Ruger Ranch rifle in 7.62x39

Hello ,for the guys out there who have a Ruger Ranch rifle in 7.62x39,
I have a dumb question for you .
are you or have you fired chinese surplus ammo with it ? and if so , have you had any problems ? I have been reading a lot about the U.S. using Saami vs the russian CIP specs. no idea what china uses for a guideline. It seems to me that tons of guys shoot surplus ammo but is it a good idea ?
