Yes.
(I'm the curious type and I had a friend who indulged my questions.)

not sure if non brothers know how to join but to be one you have to ask one...you will never be asked to be one...unlike our mortal enemies the elks and the kinsmen.....also you must be ready to back alley brawl with the KofC and the lions just like the news crews in Anchorman

My intentions are to become one, it will likely be 2013 until I can committ the time though. Long history of Freemasons in my family, but Dad broke the chain. Dad has his Grandfathers Masonic pocke****ch with the adorned chain. Both of my Grandpa's were Freemasons, though on my Mom's side I think Grandpa didn't adhere to a few codes of conduct.
Edit: Hah, pocket watch has a bad word in it

Reminds me of another organization:
"Is he a friend of YOUR'S or is he a friend of OUR'S?"
(members will know what I'm talkin about)

Funny, i am not a tory. Somehow seems an organization dedicated to honesty, self improvement and taking good men and making them better would be the opposite of the PC party IMO. Besides talk of politics and religion are expressly forbidden in Lodge.

So, is it really a secret society, dedicated to world domination ?

Apparently yes!
from what I have been told, Free Masons are rich executives who are out for themselves in an "Old Boy's network", and have the police and Government in their back pockets.
Oh, and they are all conservatives and non - Catholic.
