Default CBC article on Ruger 10/22 Mags

Interesting how there is no mention of public safety.

https://www.cbc.ca/amp/1.4606237

Quote:
Two years after sweeping RCMP prohibition, up to a million large-capacity rifle magazines remain at large.

As many as a million large-capacity rifle magazines that were declared prohibited in 2016 remain in the hands of Canada's gun owners — the fallout of a simmering legal dispute over the RCMP's authority to ban weaponry.

Since the 1960s, owners of the popular 22-calibre Ruger 10/22 long rifle have been able to buy magazines with no limit on the number of rounds they can hold.

That changed in May 2016 when the RCMP, in response to a border-seizure incident, declared as prohibited any 10/22 magazines that can hold more than 10 cartridges.

What??? The article says the issue is high capacity rifle magazines, yet there is no rimfire magazine restriction???

I thought the issue was these 100,000 missing "high capacity magazines" might be used in all of the Ruger Charger pistols out there?

When SUN news still had a tv channel they did an experiment about this once, they posted anti-Harper comments using colourful language and personal insults, they then, using a different account and screen name, posted the exact same comment verbatim with the exception of swapping out Harper for Trudeau. 9/10 anti-Trudeau comments were deleted and none of the anti-Harper comments were deleted. On more heated stories where the comments were screened prior to appearing on the site almost all the anti-Harper comments made it through but again very few if any anti-Trudeau comments made it past the moderators. They contacted CBC for an explanation but were ignored. That's how they roll, people who don't support their agenda are not welcome.

I have been permanently been banned from commenting on the CBC. Reason, using multiple accounts. Problem being, I only have one account. I have tried contacting them, but keep getting the run around. They don't like it when people say things against the Liberal party line it seems. Lots of disabled comments that don't violate the rules for commenting.
