My partner in the office is our data analyst. He shows me some of the stuff he pulls from Google and stuff he can pull from Google. I would suggest if people are worried about Facebook they are way behind on Google.
They know everything about you and more and nobody says anything. Too late now it would be like closing the barn door after the horses get out. The data that we can get is totally insane.

In today's age if you think anything you do is private or not shared then you need a good hard .

Privacy is dead, unless you were born in a cave far away and haven't left since.
Facial recognition software is a lot more advanced than we know, and all one needs to do is be in sight of a camera and voila, somebody somewhere knows where you are. Also look at how advanced satellite cameras are. It was several years ago that they could read licence plates from space. They can probably count your zits at this point.
The idea of secure phones / software is bunk. BlackBerry had a good thing going but there was too much pressure from somewhere.

Biggest issue is that most people provide a lot of their info and data because they don't read fine print before clicking 'accept', provide their phone # and email address and whatever else might be useful to companies. They also don't want to learn about it, as it is 'too complicated'. Just look at this ancestry nonsense, people paying money to provide their dna to companies must be the best business model there is right now.
That's the future, like you see people lose their jobs because of stupid things they did or do on social media we will see people lose more and more services like insurances or be denied access to it. I don't think that a political big brother will be a big issue like the corporate big brothers.
The current scandal with the UK company is probably just the tip of the iceberg.

And if you can download it from Google then a hacker can get in and get your info too.

All they need is your email and password and that isn't too hard for a hacker.

Google does not need an account to keep a log of all data coming from your IP address.

I don’t use google and rarely use YouTube and I’ve never had a Facebook account
That being said every website tracks traffic from Princess Auto to Canadian Tire to Cabela’s to Amazon
