Default Not licensed need help!

So I don't have my trapping license but have taken a trapping course in the past. Anywho, my problem is that I'm having issues interpreting the trapping regulations on when one can snare animals without a license. I'm hoping to snare rabbits in the near future on a survival trip but I'm not sure if I'm legally allowed to. Help?

"by residents for rabbit or hare on lands to which they have
right‑of‑access (provided the snare wire is not larger than 20‑gauge and the snare loop is not more than 13 cm (5 in.) in diameter)."

This means resident of Alberta, vs "Holder of a resident trapping license" which you don't have.
