Default Breakup

Have lots of work on hold waiting until after breakup....thought it might be a good idea to monitor breakup throughout BC, AB and SK. Anyone have any news or forecasts from their particular area?

Road bans have been on in the county of gp for a couple of weeks now. I don’t know if they’ve been lifted yet due to the recent weather but I think our low bed has only been keeping ***** and thieves hours.

Snowing pretty good here this morning. East side of Frog Lake. No eminent danger of breakup just yet.

In the Provost/Consort area we shut down drilling operations around March 24. The companies that I’m working for have put a June 1 date for fire up. Now with this weather that could be wishful thinking haha.

DV and Edson were on 10-10 bans last week, but i expect everything will be shut down within a day or two with this weather. The roads around RMH were starting to dry yesterday but are soup now with no frost and a couple inches of wet snow.

Anyone here working in upstream-midstream oil and gas have any insight if this later running winter and thus later beginning and ending breakups is causing supply issues with refineries and their turnaround schedules? Is there any imagined impact or link between the two? I always figured refineries planned shutdowns to coincide with breakup as best as possible. I was wondering this today, but hard to figure out without any insider knowledge.
