Default samak sage recurve, question about hunting

due to some problems i had to sell my predator recurve my go to hunting bow and im left with my sage, dont get me wrong for a cheap bow the thing has taken a beating and still lets a arrow fly true, it is my go to bow for rabbits and other cute tasty small game,
So my Question is if i bought the 60 lb limbs for it ( useing 50lb for small game atm ) with my 31 1/2 inch pull will it have the power for say black bear, elk, moose etc, i can afford the cost of new limbs sadly not a new bow,

really just want know if it will work for that size game,
also due my eyes i dont shoot at nothing more then 30 yrds so i dont need the power to try reach out and touch stuff at like 50 yrds, most my shots are in the 20 yrd zone.

so in closing , will the sage at 60 lbs shooting at 30 yrds or less have power to take larger game,

I don't use a recurve and am by no means an expert, but I would think the 50# limbs are plenty sufficient. I'd say save the cash

I think your arrows will bounce off of squirrels. Just joking lol. That's more than enough. Just curious what you shooting for arrow weight?

Just reread your post and saw the animals listed. Pete ward had a photo on here of a moose taken with a 40 lbs recurve. As long as your shooting a sharp broadheads at that draw weight/length and you put it in the right spot you shouldn't have a problem

The 50# you have are fine for all Alberta Big Game. Both my long Bows are only 50# and they work great.
