Season finished!
Hey guys,
Finally got a chance to lay out all the furs for a picture. I will be taking my fur down to Westlock this Wednesday morning to drop them off and ask AJ to critique my fur handling techniques. Not bad for my first season. Can't wait until next year!

Not a bear....young Siberian husky! Good thing the wife was around when it happened....might have been another fur put up that day!
As for the 2 wolverines, they are already at the taxidermist. Going to get them mounted together with full body mounts done on them.
As for spring rats....not really any rats up on my line. May go after a spring otter or beaver...but nothing confirmed yet.

Great job and awesome pic!! 50 Marten for a newbie is fantastic, very cool! Area must not have been trapped for a time. I have seen Marten in the wild but have never seen a Fisher, I didn't realize they were that much bigger than a Marten, but looking at the fur it must be 3-4 times the size! They look amazing! Do you have one of them at the taxidermist's as well? I am curious about the two skins on the bottom right hand side, what would they be? They appear to big to be squirrel.

The 2 larger skins in the bottom right hand side are the 2 mink I caught this year.
Didn't take any fisher to the taxidermist this year myself. However, the previous owner got my nicest one for a full body mount for himself. That's why there are only 4 in the picture.

Line is approximately 130 km north of town. Right at the firebag river.
