Default Annealed brass questions

I have some military brass that I'm processing. I have de-capped the primers and in a sonic cleaner. Next I'm going to swage to primer pockets. But being thick brass my thoughts are to soften the neck and shoulder a bit by annealing them.
The brass has a mild factory annealing done. But appears to be very faint.
A good buddy has a high end annealer that has never been used. So both of us have been reloading for some time but never annealed.

My question is.... should I just leave the brass alone? Or do another anneal to what is more to what I've read?
Cheers 360hunt

All brass is annealed from the factory. I’m in the camp that unless you know you are doing it right, don’t do it.

I'll offer this, you have Military brass likely didn't pay much for it and have lots.
Do some research /reading on the subject or there are a number of you tube vids to watch, it's not rocket science.
Do a batch of 20, load and shoot, compare to non annealed brass.

You have access to a high end annealer, put it to work, doesn't make sense to just let it sit around and collect dust.

Or, send it to me I'll put it to use, hate to see a fella dealing with this amount of stress, heck I'd even be willing to pay the shipping, cause that's just the kinda guy I am.

Finally ended up trying my Joe gong annealer. Should had used these years ago. So easy to use with tempilaq.
I'm an hour in and almost 250 brass done with set up.
