WTD: Beaver Pelts

I am looking for anyone who might be selling any beaver pelts.

Please let me know what you have and maybe some photos would be nice.

Buyer Beware, you might have some friendly neighbourhood fish cops try to sell you some... that is unless you have a dealers licence. Lots of guys have tanned beavers laying around, you are allowed to buy those without a licence.

I was unaware of the legalities of buying a couple pelts, I am simply trying to make a Cossack hat.

So clarify for me: what am I legally allowed to buy?

Anything tanned, nothing raw. Like I say, with beaver prices down, there's lots of guys sitting with tanned beavers just crying to be made into hats and mitts. Just keep asking, somebody will show up, otherwise I know a guy or two that I think will have what you want,

Is it illegal to sell a buffalo hide that isn't tanned... does anyone know
