Our own government thinks we're idiots.

To transfere registration of a firearm using forms and not the telephone - which the CFC wants you to use since it's less work for them - is quite hilarious.

To start with, I will not give my credit card number over the phone. I prefer not to give firearms information over the phone either, I like a paper trail.

I downloaded the forms from the CFC website and there were three pages of instructions on how to fill out two pages of forms. Yikes! Well, at least it was in both official languages. I also found out that firearms don't have to be officially verified, too bad, I was looking forward to that.
