Buy a collet style puller, you use it with your press.

I have a kinetic puller as you describe and I use it if I only have a few bullets to pull.

I have a RCBS hammer puller.....It works great (for uncrimped bullets, i have never tried a crimped bullet)....

I find the way to make it work the best is to have something SOLID to hit it on...I have a SOLID wood loading bench, 4-5 "decent" wacks....and out she comes....

I am surprised how strong that plastic is....I was sure it would only take a couple wacks before the handle broke....but I have probably pulled 100 shells (while doing load development I pull for the ones that don't show promise...instead of wasting the components down the range) and it still is in one piece.....

How are ya! I had my doubts when I bought this thing and now after I tried it I really have my doubts, I'm uncrimped too, If I break it I'll hit myself on the head with the handle! I should know better! RCBS one would be better me thinks...chain

Default Pulling Bullets

Here is the method that works best for me and at very minimal cost.

Put the loaded round in your reloading press - make sure you have removed whichever die or seater you have been using.

Pull down on the lever of your press until you notice that the bullet of the loaded round is protruding from the die hole in the top of the press.

Lay your previously prepared pliars (jaws wrapped with leather - glued or wired on is fine, etc.) on top of the press gripping the bullet.

Pull up on your press lever.....Presto! Changeo! Bullet is pulled and no mess.
