Private land, look for grain silos and a flock usually is somewhere nearby. Once you find them get permission, no real secret spots to pigeons in Alberta.

Old, falling down barns, are good hunting.

Have some rocks in your pocket, throw some on the roof of the old barn and shoot at the birds that flush out of the openings in a hurry

I would think any Hutterite colony would be infested with them and be happy to let you shoot some

I've had some great pigeon shoots at feedlots, colonies, and dairy barns. Old run down farm houses and abandoned buildings usually are fun as well.

I usually drive around and look for big silos and cows.
I ask permission from the farmer and after he sees me shooting, he become a very good friend of mine really fast.
