Default Moose Pics 2019

I figured because I drew a Moose tag this year, and I see WT and Mule Deer 2019 pic threads going, I’d start a moose thread! Post some pics of them swamp donkeys y’all are seeing!

This moose was on camera last year... on private land, had permission and no tag. Lol

So far this season, nice little meat bull is all I’ve found (different wmu all together)

These were the two biggest bulls we saw this summer. Early July so have grown some since. Several smaller bulls of different ages as well. Holding a cow tag this year though.
Moose are doing well where we hunt.

Moose have done well here for as long as I've been hunting it. 20 years or so.

Some of this year's calves....

This cow (out of photo) had one calf. "wait up Ma!"

That’s a beauty. Hopefully he is still around, they are just massive creatures, kings of the bush.

Default Things are looking up!

Would you say this is the same bull I posted originally to start this thread? (The bull from this year obviously) I’m pretty sure it’s not, just curious any thoughts. Pretty new to moose scouting/hunting

I’d say no,the first picture shows that his left front is weak, the picture you just posted that bull has a really good left front. Only my opinion though.

Good point. I’m not sure how much antler growth to expect on a moose at this time of year, and especially in the short time between pictures.

Nice pics, thx for sharing. I pulled a moose tag near Provost this year and am hoping to get one with my bow. Will be the second and likely last moose I ever shoot, so I’m hoping for a mature bull.

Pulled my 5yr tag out at a buddy’s property as he usually has tons of moose and three 50+ bulls steady the last few years. So far this year we have nothing over 30” on camera, but cows everywhere so I’m sure the hogs will arrive soon if they’re alive.
