Default STOLEN - Wall Tent - Sheep River

Hey all,

Unfortunately, some of our friends had their wall tent stolen some between July 14-16th.

This tent was located on posted private property on the Sheep river west of Okotoks.

Brand new from Alberta Tent and Awning - Brand new stove - and a couple of cow skin rugs all gone.

Dimensions: 12ft x 16ft

If anyone sees anything "too good to be true" for sale it would be much appreciated if you could pass along the info.

Cheers.

Always worried about that leaving my tent, so I painted my brand in big letters front and back, so there could be no doubt as to ownership. Bummer.

It’s pretty sad when you can’t leave your tent with out worrying about some body stealing it, a worse it was on private property
I can’t say what I really feel about this
Hope you get it back
I hunt out of wall tents and the thought has crossed my mind about somebody taking my stuff or tent
They don’t want me to catch them in the act that’s for sure
Got to be pretty stupid to take a hunters tent you never know when there coming back

Dang that's crappy news. I hope the lowlifes get what's coming to them.

Man that sucks. Know the feeling my friend, as our hunting camp was raided mid May during the fires...

I keep meaning to check with my insurance company to see if all my gear is covered while camp is set up way back in the bush.

Anyone ever talked to their provider to see if camp is covered?

I burned one of mine up, covered under my house insurance, same with stolen kid's computer. Personal possessions temporarily away from home.

May not be worth making a claim , because of the deductible and your insurance may go up .
