How did you manage that? I'd love to get either one of those for free. Tough call on which one to take. I'd have to shoot them both to know the answer to that question...

I've shot both the Iceman and the Admiral, but chose the Bowtech Captain. The longer version of the Admiral. So, of the 2, I'd pick the Admiral, hands down!

Is the Iceman a single cam, I seem to recall that it is, but I sometimes suffer from CRS (Can't Remember Sh*t)...LOL

Solo cam is the way to go. Picked up an Iceman in the spring and love it!

Here is some info that might help. Explains the difference between the dual and solo cams. Cabela's Bow Guide:

Let's not forget that the Bowtechs, such as the Admiral are unlike most other "dual cams". The Center Track Binary Cams are slaved to each other, with no split cables tied to the limbs as with other dual cams and even solo cams. Pick up the bow and you'll notice that there are no cables connected to the limbs. Cam tuning issues are virtually eliminated, and the string is centered on each cam and with the center line of the split limbs. There is no limb torque!

You won't go wrong with either bow, you're really splitting hairs here. Bowtech was so smart in releasing the Iceman in the Diamond line. The riser of the Admiral and the Iceman are forged identically with the CNC machining the cutouts differently. They followed the single cam premise of the Diamond line, giving the consumer the opportunity to purchase virtually the same bow as the Admiral at "big box" stores, such as Bass Pro & Cabela's. Bowtech bows are only sold in "pro shops" (in the US, not necessarily true in Canada) as are most other top line bows.

they are so close to one another both very good bows which is why i think this should end up 50/50 but i guess there are more admiral shooters out there than Iceman shooters but still tough call on which one is better

where can I find a bowtech dealer? Was at the CAC a few months ago and a fellow beside me was shooting one, it was so quiet I was absolutely amazed! Are they all like that? Any more info would be appreciated.
