Approach for late season grouse?

So, I've been liking the opportunity to take my shotgun out for a walk in december and january with the extension of the upland season.

I have not yet actually walked away with a grouse yet though, mind you. So, I'm assuming they change where they hang out with the seasons. Any advice on where to look for grouse in Dec & Jan?
