This was the gum department square in the red square. The way that these old builds get lite up with lighting makes them look amazing to me! This place was pretty neat, you could go from buying a $2 bottle of wine to one that was $25000 in the same store. The markets inside were incredible.

Caviar is 100x better than I ever thought it would be. Salmon caviar was amazing. Sturgeon caviar is next level better

The subway system in moscow is amazing! Millions of people use this every day. The architecture in a lot of them is mind blowing. Ohhh and they are deep sell under ground. You get on the escalator and it make the one at Rogers place look like a normal one in a mall lol. Some are twice as long and steep steep lol

Beautiful city! Their subway is second to none. Drop by St. Petersburg if you have a couple of spare days.

The city of my childhood! I remember growing up there and running those escalators up and down when I was late to university or meeting the girl….
I remember walking those streets too.
The Metro system was also design to be a bomb shelters in case of the war. Some of them can withstand a nuclear blast.
If you have enough time- take a short trip to Suzdal’ - you will thank me later.
And yes, St.Petersburg is a must see for sure, that’s my favourite city in Russia…

Great advise, but two day is not enough for St. Petersburg.
Back in the USSR it was a good tradition after season in exploration camp go to Leningrad for couple weeks to enjoy museums, concert halls, theatres....and some restaurants of course. Our company paid almost everything, except booze. It was great time.

Don’t worry about the border, I will talk to Vlad to let you in….
As for the caviar- you can buy a very good salmon caviar here too, it is made in BC and sold at your local store in Calgary called European Deli aka Russian store. They also have a black caviar there. Get the one called Coastal Bay, really good stuff!
Never eat red salmon caviar and black caviar at the same time!

These trips you take to hunt are unreal. The animals you have taken are nothing short of amazing but the places and things you have seen on these trips trump the hunt in my opinion. The animals are a bonus to all the architecture and culture you have experienced.

When I grow up I want to be like you...

Seriously...You have always posted some great hunts, and I for one, really appreciate it.

Having said that, you have also posted some great pictures of the places you have visited (aside from the hunting pics), and to be honest with you, I am in awe!

Thank you very much and keep them coming.

Also, if you don't mind of course, please PM me the cost of your moose hunt. One of my few items on my bucket list. If you can't, no worries my friend...
