Some great advice here, depending on what you are clearing would dictate blade vs bucket... Long driveway with a big shoulder I would take a 6 way blade, large parking lot a big snow bucket... We rarely mount something other than a large snow bucket on our skidsteers at work, roads are done with graders or large blades on loaders...

I have a couple options, went to a local dealer today after a drive-by phoning. I picked up a new customer, and have a line on a Bobcat 185. Then I met another guy, and am looking at a 2010 New Holland 150hp payloader.

This won't fit in my garage, but I just love the idea of using a payloader again.

Anyone got a lowboy and a semi near Lloydminster for a 30 mile haul if things go good tomorrow?

I agree with Sitting Bull, 5 minutes to pin snow blade to Ram 2500, put on CFCW and heater and watch the snow fly. I will never go back to tractors, snow blowers even skid steers, to cold to play in snow!

Looks good Ken. I've moved a lot of snow with machines like that.
Mostly John Deer and Cat machines but from what I hear New Holland is as good as the rest.

It's what I would get if I could aford such a machine. As it is, I make do with an old Massey backhoe.

Thats a good loader, the only real "weak" point of them is the transmission is a ZF made unit that is not super tough and needs good maintenance and as little shifting as you can do, especially under load...

Good machine though, enjoy.
