I have used him. He did everything I asked and did it well. I thought his price was reasonable also.

Default I heard he is not a licensed marine mechanic

Someone I know just told me this guy @ T.DOT Marine is not a licensed marine mechanic, and that he is over-charging people and/or not performing said work.
Just make sure you ask to see his credentials before you agree to have him perform ANY work. And get a detailed receipt for work done.
Best to be safe and not sorry!!
