Default Fleet pricing? 1/2 ton

How much can one expect to get as a discount off msrp by purchasing through an association for fleet pricing.

How would this compare to say employees pricing?

Looking at gm and ram 1500. Mid level trims

Thanks

I pay dealer cost + $150 for gas and polishing. Then got the dealership to write me a cheque for $1500. They like to get the #s up at the end of the month. I saved over $10,000 on the new impala. Just call them and ask them. Its usually a set price.

A friend of mine and his dad bought 2 1/2 denalis in 2018 for 47,000.00 each.
I was quite surprised at that price but at the same time i think they buy about 25 trucks each year for their company.

We get fleet pricing and pay dealer cost on Dodge products. It can save a bunch depending on the vehicle. Some models it’s hardly anything at all. My dealer shows me their cost.

No one ever pays much more than dealer pricing apparently.
It's a wonder these dealerships stay in business.

You could go to three dealers and get three different prices on cost or fleet pricing. Recently bought two new vehicles both salesman said you know were losing money on this sale.

There is Dealer invoice they will show the customer, then there is Dealer invoice less manufacturers incentives. They also get a cut of the financing fees.
As for staying in business? Dealerships make the majority of their profit from the Service Department.
