Just pay it with your Capital One card.

Jail time instead of paying taxes.... done!! Here's my address send the cops.

Funny I always loose the connection after telling them that. Married with 4 kids... I could use the rest, where do I turn myself in.

I keep getting the "someone used your visa card twice" at 7 in the morning. Press 1 to decline or accept the charges. I just wish they were real people who would be deaf after the air horn in the mouthpiece.

Ask if they'll accept Canadian Tire money or Bre-X shares in lieu of cash.

Keep getting these calls from Edmonton. Answered once dead air, now 3 or 4 times a day from that number.

I take a lot of technology-related things for granted as common knowledge but how would any intelligent human being, even a senile grandma think that iTunes gift cards would be a legitimate way to pay a government agency.....

One time we were getting an absurd number of calls over the course of a couple of days and my wife answered the phone speaking in Hungarian, that did the trick

got call like that 4 years ago claiming that they were the CRA, HA!!
I laughed my ass off and told them that I can only use a TDD and only speak American Sign Language.
TDD- Telecommunication Device for the Deaf
what would be use for deaf people to convert speech to text or vise versa.

besides I can't believe how many people still fall for their tricks.
CRA will never call and threaten jail.
I have been dealing with them for the past 9 years re: taxes owed.
and i am almost free.

Ya this would be kind of what the ladies call a spa day. If I knew it was that easy I would have stopped paying taxes years ago lol

I blocked those numbers, and I haven't had any of those calls in a year or more. The idiot with the English name and the East Indian accent, supposedly from Revenue Canada was the worst of them all. A person would have to be pretty gullible to fall for that scam.

My elderly parents have always been smart with their money and very level headed about anything financial and things in general. Not technical geniuses but not totally ignorant of modern ways and scams either. That said now that they are +80 I can see a clear uncertainty in their thinking and processing that wasn't there before. Fairly simple issues that would have been dealt with easily in the past can throw them for a loop and have them doubting their decisions and worrying. I can totally see a legitimate sounding scam call alarming them and maybe having them make a bad rush decision. Its sad to see parents decline and its beyond maddening the people are taking advantage of the vulnerable like this.

I keep having an African prince wanting to give me 1.5m$ that he’s holding in a trust for me. I replied that my gift to him is that I allow him to keep the money himself. With my blessings

An air horn into the receiver works fairly good also. I've heard

Last call I got like that I acted all concerned and scared of going to jail so I played along, they keep you on the line as you go to Walmart to buy the ITunes card. I just set my phone down and checked it 45 min later and he was STILL on the line!
