Default Field tips and Broad head POI issue

I was shooting my bow today from 20 to 80 yards with field tips and broad heads (slick tricks). At 20 yards it seemed like my broad heads were landing about 2 inches to the right. But when I shot 30 and 40 they seemed to hit on centre (same impact as field tips). Can this happen or am I just inconsistent at 30 and 40 which seems like they are back on target?

I’m going back a few more times to test again. If POI is different should I move my rest to the left until my broad heads and field tips hit the same spot? I'm using a QAD Ultra Rest.

Thanks

I use this trick racing cars, but film yourself in slowmotion with your phone and watch it back. You'll be able to see if your technique is good (do a couple angles) or if your broad heads somehow are pulling. IMO if I am shooting off it's me. Broad heads should only effect drop rates, unless something is broken.

I try to repeat my set up to make sure my shooting is the same every time by checking stance, drawing, lowering my shoulders and aiming. It takes 1000 hours to become a pro.

Your second or third axis could be off on your bow.

Default Broadheads

Bow is not tuned, try walkback or bare shaft tuning. By 20 yards, arrows out of untuned bows are stabilized, especially with blazer vanes or any smaller vane or feather.
