Default Tested some Hammer bullets today

Some preliminary findings for the Hammer bullets
Started with the 19gr in my 17Hornet, CZ527
This gun has proven to:be extremely difficult to find any kind of an accuracy node
About the only thing consistent with this gun is it shoots 1.5” groups with everything I’ve thrown at it
I did find a couple nodes, one with 25gr H pills and another with 20gr H pills
Both like being super close to the lands 25’s were .010 off the lands and 20’s were .005 off the lands
However in both cases, the COALwas too long to fit in the mag
Both with CFE BLK, and then both were about half inch at 100 yds

You’ll see this target is at 55yds, so if you do the math that’s still under .5” at 100
I can do this in my yard when the neighbours are away, save a trip to the range

Used that info to my advantage and seated the 19’s at .010 off the lands and ended up using 12.3gr CFE BLK again cuz that’s the only powder so far I’ve had any success with
And with the ogive being really close to the tip they still fit in the mag.
WIN WIN

Next up is the 21gr 17cal, then the 33gr 20cal, then the 44gr 22cal, then 133 in 270W
