Lethal Weapon (the series) has jumped the shark
I am not sure how many watch the show, I was a fan of the movies and like the series as well.
Turns out Riggs played by Clayne Crawford turned the actor into Riggs, so they killed him. He is gone. Lots of talk about the crazy actor, just not someone anyone could work with.
And replaced by STIFFLER!! (Sean William Scott)
I give it 3-4 episodes.

Brutal Sean Williams is not for this part, I’ll give it 2 shows.

That is brutally dumb casting. Can't say as I watched the series, because Glover and Gibson are the only two who could pull that chemistry off....but Scott as Riggs? Maybe in the roll Joe Pesci used to play, sure, but not as Riggs. Fail.

I love the Lethal Weapon movies and really enjoyed the TV series. I was really disappointed when I heard that they got rid of Clayne Crawford as Riggs, I thought he made the show. I don't have faith that it will last long with Sean William Scott.

if anyone does the podcast thing there is an episode of the Drinkin bro's podcast that Clayne Crawford goes on and explains what actually went down on the show.

Jeez. Sws as Riggs. Lol.
Unless he comes out with some critically acclaimed role / movie , he's always gonna be typecast as comedy relief - which he does very well.

I don't think he is supposed to be Riggs, but a relative of his. Either way, I don't think the show is gonna be the same. Although that was what I thought when Kutcher replaced Sheen on 2 and a half men. Look how long that was on. But what do I know!

It jumped the shark when it was turned into a TV series.
Having said that, Sean William Scott is actually a pretty versatile and good actor. Check him out in "Goon". Pretty cool hockey "enforcer" movie that a lot of guys on here would probably enjoy, as there's quite a bit of head-punching. It is my opinion that he's got way more acting chops than being typecast as a Stiffler clone.

I also watched it, I like the way the character was introduced.
Scott is not Riggs for sure, maybe that will be a good thing.

It looks like they may be trying to move him out of the Stiffler/goon role, but he is so typecast it will be difficult.
This and Magnum PI will both be done mid season I am sure.

Wayons announced today he is quitting the show. Last season anyway.
That's a wrap. Damn.
