Default Tim Brent being harassed for shooting Grizzly

It appears the antis are all over Tim Brent, former NHL hockey player and husband to Eva Shockey, for hunting and ultimately killing a Grizzly with Jim Shockey while in the Yukon.

About all I have to say is nice Grizz Tim, congrats and way to get it done!

We go through this every time a hunter posts a pic of a kill. And for some reason we are shocked and angered by the reaction of the anti hunters...maybe its time to stop posting these pictures on forums where everybody and their dog can see them. Or use the same approach that I have seen used on this forum when it comes to the snowflakes: GET A THICKER SKIN.
I have never been a trophy hunter, for me it was always about putting meat in the freezer, that being said I have no problem with people who are trophy hunters, but if the only reason your hunting is to post pictures on Facebook its time to do a re-think of why you hunt. Your doing the hunting community any favours.

I dislike the term "trophy hunting", it implies that the meat goes to waste, and animals are only killed for "trophy", and the rest left to rot in the field.

I want to practice catch-and-release grizzly hunting.

I want to catch a grizzly, then release him in a Starbucks with a sign around his neck, stating "Free Bear Hugs!"

Post the picture on a general social media site, and wait to see what kind of feed back a person gets.

One would think most of it would not very positive, oh well,,, to each their own

Someone posted that they wished the bear had torn Tim to pieces. I replied that he/she could find professional help to deal with issues about the desire for a human to be killed. Naturally, my comment was deleted lol.

because they can threaten a humans life on social media but you can't insult people about their mental health, didn't you know that, haha

It doesn’t matter what you post on social media, someone always hits it

Post wedding pics. Oh your wife is fat, ugly dress, who would ever get married...

Post your kid getting 100% on test. Oh he cheated, slept with the teacher, used Google.....

Irrelevant. Opinions. Mean nothing.

Kill another next year Tim. There’s lots.

Now excuse me. Im off to China to shoot the last panda bear

Wish you had a better recipe for Peregrine falcon....this is so bland I can hardly choke it down......my girlfriend over cooked it AGAIN!

There are 8 more in the freezer but I hate wasting them like this.....

Falcon has to be approached much like the spotted owl, or it does get dry and tough. I usually like to wrap mine with some tenderized sea turtle and slow cook in smoker, keeps the perigrine or owl moist and tender that way.
