I have heard of guys who have but on string leeches and sims limbsaver blocks and NAP thunderblocks on them...

Some have said it works, some say that it doesn't. You have upwards of 150lbs coming to a very abrupt stop, and there is little in the way of quieting that down.

Simple solution is to go to very heavy for weight bolts, buying brass inserts and weight tubes and heavy tips. Slows the velocity down but you also create more resistance against the force of the limbs and absorb more energy, less excess energy and vibration creates less noise.

try posting on the Archery Talk website in their crossbow section, there are more guys with more experience with tinkering on xbows.
